Day 1

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. The scenic drive takes about 45 minutes to an hour, offering glimpses of lush landscapes and lively roadside scenes. If arriving at Arusha Airport (ARK), your transfer will be quicker—around 20 to 30 minutes.

After checking in, take time to unwind and enjoy the peaceful ambiance and views from your room. For those interested in exploring, an optional guided city tour (for an extra cost) is available. Visit Arusha’s bustling markets, local craft shops, and cultural landmarks to get a glimpse of everyday life in this vibrant town. Alternatively, relax at the hotel, perhaps enjoying a swim or a walk in the garden.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart from Arusha on a scenic 2.5-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its ancient baobab trees and impressive herds of elephants.

Upon arrival, embark on an exciting game drive through the park’s varied terrain, keeping an eye out for lions, giraffes, zebras, and a wide array of birdlife.

Around midday, pause for a picnic lunch in a designated spot within the park, surrounded by nature.
