Nairobi National Park is the only wildlife park in the world located within a capital city’s limits. Situated just 7 km (4 miles) from Nairobi’s city center, this unique park offers a rare juxtaposition of untamed African savannah with city skyscrapers in the background. It's home to a wide range of wildlife, including the endangered black rhino.

Tour Duration

Half-day tour: 4–5 hours

1. Early Morning Pickup (5:30 AM – 6:00 AM)

Depart from your hotel or pickup point in Nairobi.
Early morning game drives are ideal as animals are most active during cooler hours.

2. Game Drive (6:30 AM – 11:00 AM)

Begin a slow-paced drive in a safari van or 4x4 Land Cruiser.
Possible sightings:

Big game: Lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, rhinos (both white and black), leopards (rare)
Others: Elands, impalas, hartebeests, warthogs, hyenas
Birdlife: Over 400 species including secretary birds, ostriches, crowned cranes.
