Transfer to Kibale National Park

After early morning breakfast, you will be picked up from your accommodation by your guide and transferred as early as 6:00am to Kibale National Park with a lunch stop over then proceed to the park after lunch. Upon arrival at the park, you will check into Bweza Kibale lodge and freshen up as you organize for an afternoon nature walk in one of the communities adjacent to the park where you will get a chance to explore lush rainforest, swamps, savanna, and crater lake trails, spot diverse wildlife: primates (e.g., colobus monkeys), 200+ butterfly species, and 325 bird species and at the end of the day you will return to Bweza Kibale Lodge for relaxation.

Chimpanzee Trekking & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After early morning breakfast as early as 6:00am, you will head to Kibale National Park for Chimpanzee Trekking. This will last 2-4 hours with the guidance of a knowledgeable ranger after receiving a briefing on the chimpanzee tracking rules and regulations from the UWA headquarters. You will get to know the behaviors and lifestyle of these incredible creatures in their natural habitat. You may also spot other monkeys, such as L’Hoest’s Monkey. You will then transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park via Queen Elizabeth national park where there will be a stop for a brief game viewing in the Ishasha sector (tree climbing lions). Arrive in Bwindi in the evening, check into the Bweza Gorilla Lodge and rest.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After early breakfast of as early as 6:00am, you will engage in an early morning gorilla trekking which is a unique and unforgettable adventure. You will be guided by the park rangers who will lead you through the thick forest in search of a family of a gorilla. This will take about a few hours to a whole day but the experience of coming face -to – face with these magnificent primates is worth it. When done with trekking you will receive a trekking certificate and have a hot lunch. You will then embark on a journey to Lake Bunyonyi. Upon arrival at Lake Bunyonyi, you will check into White Horse Inn and relax.

After breakfast, you will check out of White Horse Inn then have an afternoon boat ride where you will explore the lake and glide between the 29 Islands each with its own history and legend then after, begin the long journey back to Kampala with a lunch stopover at Mbarara then arrive late evening in Kampala with an equator stopover for stretching and taking photos. The guide will take you the airport for departure.
