Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park
After breakfast at your hotel, we will pick you up and proceed to Tarangire National Park. One of the largest national parks in Tanzania, located in the Manyara region, this place is characterized by large herds of elephants, tree-climbing lions, and fascinating baobab trees. The trees are also called the "tree of life" for the almost mythical powers that some cultures attach to them. This park is especially well known for the Tarangire River which flows all year round and is the only source of water for wild animals during dry seasons.

Day 2
Lake Eyasi
Lake Eyasi
Today, you will drive to Lake Eyasi. You will enjoy and relax at the luxury camp, whether in the swimming pool or at the bar lounge. It is truly worth being there with natural settings. In the evening, you will go for a walk at the lake, where you will see a lot of flamingos and hippos. Your local guide will be happy to explain everything to you.
Lake Eyasi is a seasonal shallow salt lake on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. It is in northern Tanzania, south of the Ngorongoro Highlands. You will have plenty of time to enjoy this tranquil environment and absorb its natural setting. This large lake lies high above sea level. In contrast to the savannah and arid plains of northern national parks, Lake Eyasi offers tall palm trees along its shores, which provide shelter for flamingoes and hippos.

Lake Manyara National Park
Today, we drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day of game drives. This is one of Tanzania’s smaller parks, but it still offers a rewarding and diverse safari experience. The lakeshore at Manyara teems with birdlife, and while looking for the birds, you might spot one of the elusive tree-climbing lions. There are many other large mammals, and the striking cliffs on the Rift Escarpment form a dramatic backdrop.
This tour ends at Kilimanjaro International Airport at 15h30. You can only depart on this day if you have booked a domestic flight from Kilimanjaro International Airport at 17h40 or onwards, or an international flight which departs at 19h00 or onwards.
