3-Day Murchison Falls National Park Excursion

Arrival | Ziwa Rhino Tracking | Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Breakfast in the morning, after which you will be picked up from your preferred lodging by our guide or office representative and start your journey North West, to the infamous Murchison Falls National Park. If you are open to it, you can stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for the Rhino Tracking before continuing to the park.

Arrival at the lodge, have a hot lunch and some well-deserved rest after.

At 3:00pm, your guide will pick you up for an afternoon game drive, the first one on this trip. You will be seeing a wide range of animals on this game drive including lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards, giraffes, and so many more. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Game Drive | Boat Safari

After breakfast, you will be picked up by the guide for your 2nd game drive. There is nothing like watching the sunrise as you view lions or leopards returning from a night of hunting and feeding on prey. Some return with prey from a fresh hunt that just happened.

You will return to the lodge for hot lunch and prepare to be transferred for your afternoon boat safari. The boat cruise will be the highlight of your trip. You will a lot of different wild animals including hippos, elephants, crocodiles, a large number of birds, and so many more. The boat will drop you at the bottom of the magnificent falls, from where you will hike to the top enjoying the sounds of animals and birds as well as the powerful Murchison falls waters hitting the rocks.

You will meet your guide at the top of Murchison falls and he will transfer you back to the lodge. Another evening game drive is an option as well.

Return to Kampala

Breakfast in the morning and thereafter get ready for to check out of the lodge. Your guide will pick you up after breakfast and you will embark on your journey back to Kampala. You will have a stopover at the top of the falls for some more viewing and picture opportunities.

This is a 5-6 hour journey, depending on the amount of stopovers you make. Your guide will advise better on where you can stop for a hot lunch before continuing your trip.

Drop off later at the airport for your flight back to your home country.
