Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, clear customs and meet your driver. You’ll head straight to Tarangire National Park. For the best experience, arriving early in the morning is ideal. If your flight arrives late, consider staying overnight in Arusha and starting your safari the following day. The drive from the airport to the park takes about two hours.

Upon arrival, begin your game drive, continuing until evening.

Lunch: Enjoy your meal at a picnic site inside the park.
Dinner: Served at your lodge.

Tarangire is named after the river that flows through it, providing the only water source for wildlife during the dry season. The park is renowned for its large elephant herds, giant baobab trees, and tree-climbing African pythons. You’ll also encounter lions, leopards, gazelles, zebras, giraffes, buffalo, and diverse birdlife in this rich ecosystem.
