Day 1

Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

You’ll be picked up from your hotel or the airport at 07:00 hrs and depart for the Masai Mara, with a stopover at the Great Rift Valley for sightseeing. Continue to the Masai Mara, arriving in time for lunch, followed by check in and a short rest. Later, head out for an afternoon game drive in the park until 18:00 hrs, at which time you’ll return to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 2

Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, you’ll depart for a full-day game drive with packed lunch in hand. The reserve is well known for its black-maned lions and is one of the few places where you have a chance to see the “Big Five” during an early morning game drive. Many of the cheetahs are so tame they seek shelter from the sun under safari vehicles, and some even climb onto the roof for a better view of potential prey.

For bird enthusiasts, nearly 500 species have been recorded, including 16 eagle species, various hawks and falcons, six vulture species, eight stork species, four bustard species, and nine sunbird species. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 3

Masai Mara National Reserve - Amboseli National Park

Masai Mara National Reserve - Amboseli National Park

Have breakfast at the camp and then visit a nearby Maasai village (optional) to learn about the Maasai culture and enjoy a traditional dance performed by the locals. After the visit, head to the airstrip for your flight to Amboseli. Upon arrival in Amboseli, enjoy a short game drive before heading to the lodge for check in, lunch, and rest. Later in the afternoon, you’ll embark on an evening game drive. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

After breakfast, you’ll head out for a full-day game drive, enjoying the stunning view of Mount Kilimanjaro and large herds of elephants. Have a picnic lunch at the viewpoint while taking in the scenery, then return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Have an early morning game drive at 06:30 hrs to catch the early action in the park. If the weather permits, you will enjoy great views of the snowcapped Mount Kilimanjaro. Breakfast and checkout. Depart for Nairobi and have hot lunch enroute. Arrive in Nairobi by 4pm. Drop off at the airport/hotel.
