Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), you’ll be warmly greeted by your driver-guide, who will accompany you throughout your journey.

If arriving early, enjoy a scenic 2.5-hour drive to Karatu for an overnight stay in the lush highlands, reducing your drive to Serengeti the next day. If arriving in the evening, we recommend staying in Arusha to rest before your safari begins.

Along the way, soak in rural views—rolling hills, local markets, and vibrant villages. Once at your lodge, unwind, enjoy dinner, and receive a detailed briefing about the exciting days ahead. Drift off to sleep surrounded by the serenity of the highlands, ready for your adventure to begin.
