Day 1

Today, your safari guide will meet you at your hotel in Moshi, introduce themselves, and give you a brief overview of your safari before you board your 4x4 Land Cruiser adapted for safari drives. You will then head to Tarangire National Park, a journey of about 2.5 hours.

Tarangire is renowned for its rich biodiversity, with large herds of elephants and diverse landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savannahs, all nourished by the Tarangire River. Keep an eye out for lions stalking their prey and leopards lounging in the trees above.

After the game drive, you will head to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

After a delicious breakfast, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a wonderful game drive.

Ngorongoro is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its unique natural and cultural significance. As you descend into the crater, you will have the chance to spot the Big Five, including prides of lions, herds of buffalo, elephants, leopards, and the rare black rhinos. The crater lakes attract bird species such as flamingos, creating a stunning scene. The lush environment within the crater supports an incredible variety of wildlife within a short distance.

After the game drive, you will drive to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Rise and shine, as today marks the end of your safari. After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Manyara National Park, nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley.

Lake Manyara is known for its diverse landscapes, from dense forests to open savannahs, and is home to the famous tree-climbing lions, elephants, giraffes, and numerous bird species that gather around the alkaline lake, including flocks of flamingos. You will enjoy a captivating game drive, exploring the park’s lush forests and wide plains while soaking in its natural beauty.

Later in the afternoon, you will drive back to Arusha, where your safari adventure ends.
