Flight from Zanzibar to Serengeti National Park

Today, you’ll fly from Zanzibar Airport at 8:00 AM to Serengeti. Upon arrival at Seronera Airstrip at 11:00 AM, your guide will pick you up for a game drive. You’ll stop for lunch at a picnic site inside the park and continue the game drive until evening. Later, head to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Serengeti, in northern Tanzania, is a World Heritage Site covering around 15,000 sq km. It hosts over 2 million herbivores, 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, 550 cheetahs, and 500 bird species. During the dry season, massive herds of wildebeest and zebra migrate here. The Northern Serengeti also has plenty of resident wildlife, including lions, elephants, hippos, giraffes, crocodiles, and the rare oribi antelopes.

Today, you’ll spend the whole day on a game drive in Serengeti National Park. With your guide, you’ll explore different areas of the park to spot various animals, including Africa’s Big Five.

Ngorongoro Crater to Zanzibar

After breakfast at 6:00 AM, you’ll leave the lodge for Ngorongoro Conservation Area, reaching the gate in about 2 hours. You’ll enjoy a full-day game drive in the crater with a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll drive to Arusha Airport for your 4:30 PM flight to Zanzibar. You’ll arrive at 5:30 PM, where our driver will transfer you to your hotel.

Ngorongoro is a World Heritage Site, famous for its large volcanic crater. Inside, you’ll spot the Big Five —lions, buffalo, elephants, leopards, and black rhinos —along with flamingos and many other wildlife species in a stunning natural setting.
