Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park

You’ll start the day early with a pick-up from your hotel for an 8:00 am flight from Zanzibar to Arusha. Upon arrival at 9:15 am, your driver-guide will welcome you and drive you to Tarangire National Park, about 1.5 hours away, sharing insights about the area’s culture and the Maasai people along the way. Tarangire is famous for its large herds of elephants, ancient baobab trees, and varied landscapes. Keep your eyes open for lions stalking prey or leopards resting in the trees. You will enjoy your packed lunch inside the park while taking in the sights and sounds of nature. After the afternoon game drive, which ends around 4:00 pm, you will drive to your lodge for dinner and relaxation, ready for another adventure tomorrow.

Game Drive Ngorongoro Crater and Flight back to Zanzibar

After breakfast at 6:00 am, you’ll head to Ngorongoro for an early game drive inside the crater, when wildlife is most active and the views are breathtaking. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is the world’s largest unbroken caldera and home to around 30,000 large mammals, including buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, along with diverse birds like flamingos and eagles. The drive offers great chances to see many animals in a short time. In the afternoon, you’ll transfer to Arusha Airport for your 4:30 pm flight back to Zanzibar, where your driver will be waiting to take you to your hotel.
