Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park

At 6:00 am (pick-up time depends on your hotel's location in Zanzibar), our driver will take you to the airport for an 8:00 am flight from Zanzibar to Arusha. Upon arrival at 9:15 am, our driver-guide will drive you to Tarangire National Park, about 1.5 hours from Arusha, while sharing insights about the history and culture of Arusha and the Maasai people.

Tarangire National Park is well known for its biodiversity, including large elephant herds, and features diverse landscapes from seasonal swamps to savannah, with the Tarangire River winding through the park. You may have the chance to see a lion stalking its prey or leopards resting in the trees.

After the game drive, you will return to your accommodation for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Afternoon: Enjoy your packed lunch inside the park.

Evening: The game drive ends at 4:00 pm, then you will be driven back to your accommodation for dinner and rest.

Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater and Flight Back to Zanzibar

After breakfast at 6:00 am, you will drive to Ngorongoro for an early game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater. The early start offers the best views of the crater and the most active wildlife.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world and one of Africa’s Natural Wonders. It is home to about 30,000 large mammals, including buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, along with many bird species such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. You can expect to see many animals in a short time.

The game drive will end in the afternoon, followed by a transfer to Arusha Airport for your 4:30 pm flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, your driver will transfer you back to your hotel in Zanzibar.
