Upon arrival, you'll be picked up from the airport and transferred to your hotel. If time allows, enjoy an optional city tour of Arusha to explore and prepare for the adventure ahead. In the evening, you'll receive a tour briefing, with the option to take a short hike to Kilima Moto for a stunning sunset view.

Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast you’ll head to Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its vibrant flocks of flamingos and the elusive tree-climbing lions. As we embark on a game drive, you’ll enjoy sightings of a wide variety of bird species and wildlife, including buffaloes, wildebeests, warthogs, monkeys, vultures, and eagles. If luck is on our side, we may even catch a glimpse of the famous lions resting in the trees.

Highlights include a stop at the hippo pool for an up-close view of hippos, and a visit to the hot springs within the park.

After the game drive, we’ll proceed to your accommodation at Farm of Dreams Lodge in Mto wa Mbu.

Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you'll depart from Mto wa Mbu and begin your journey to Serengeti National Park, a scenic drive of approximately 6 hours, including several memorable stops along the way as you pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Stop 1: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Duration: ~20 minutes
Take in the breathtaking views from the crater rim, a perfect spot to stretch your legs and capture some panoramic photos.

Optional Stop: Maasai Village Visit
Duration: 20–45 minutes
Immerse yourself in the culture of the Maasai people, one of Tanzania’s most iconic tribes. Learn about their rich traditions, warrior history, and daily life. While some customs like lion hunting are no longer practiced, the experience offers valuable insights into a fascinating culture.

Seronera, Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, set out on a morning game drive through the Serengeti, maximizing your chances of spotting a wide variety of wildlife during the active early hours. After an exciting safari, return to the camp in the early afternoon for lunch and to prepare for departure.

Later, enjoy a final game drive as we exit the park and journey to Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge, located on the rim of the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater a scenic 2-hour drive from Serengeti.

Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Arusha Region

After an early breakfast, we’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater setting out in search of the rare and elusive black rhino. While the crater is home to a wide variety of wildlife easily visible on the open crater floor, rhinos remain the most challenging to spot making the experience even more rewarding.

After enjoying a picnic lunch, we’ll continue with a game drive before ascending the crater walls and beginning our journey back. Once out of the crater, you’ll pack up and prepare for the return trip to your hotel in Arusha.
