Day 1

Your safari adventure begins with a morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha. After a short briefing, you’ll embark on the drive to Tarangire National Park, a journey that will take approximately 2 to 3 hours. Known for its large herds of elephants and iconic baobab trees, Tarangire offers a unique and stunning landscape. Upon arrival, you’ll check into your accommodation before heading out on an afternoon game drive. The park is home to an abundance of wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and a variety of bird species. The open plains and river valleys provide excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. As the sun sets, you’ll return to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and relaxation before an overnight stay.

Day 2

Tarangire-Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, you’ll depart for the Serengeti National Park, which will take around 4 to 5 hours. The drive will pass through scenic landscapes, including the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you may stop for a brief break, and if time allows, you’ll visit a local Maasai village for a cultural experience, learning about the Maasai people’s way of life. Upon arrival in the Serengeti, you’ll check into your lodge or camp and enjoy a hot lunch before heading out on your first game drive in the park. The Serengeti is renowned for its vast open plains, abundant wildlife, and iconic predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs. If you're visiting during the Great Migration, you’ll witness millions of wildebeests and zebras crossing the plains. After an exciting day of wildlife viewing, you’ll return to your accommodation for dinner and rest.

Day 3

Explore Serengeti National Park

On the third day, you’ll enjoy a full day of exploration in the Serengeti. Early in the morning, you’ll embark on a sunrise game drive, which offers the best opportunity to see the predators in action. Lions, leopards, and cheetahs are often most active at this time, hunting and patrolling their territories. Following this, you’ll have a picnic breakfast in the park, surrounded by nature. Afterward, you’ll continue your game drive, traveling through various parts of the park, each offering different wildlife experiences. The Serengeti’s varied landscapes—open grasslands, woodlands, and riverine areas—allow you to see a range of animal species, from large herds of wildebeest and buffalo to solitary giraffes and rare species like the serval cat. Enjoy a picnic lunch in a scenic area, then continue the drive in the afternoon before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

On the final day, you’ll have breakfast before departing for the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most iconic safari destinations in Africa. The drive from Serengeti to Ngorongoro takes around 3-4 hours passing through rolling hills and scenic landscapes.

Upon arrival at the Ngorongoro Crater, you’ll descend into the caldera for a game drive. This is one of the best places in Tanzania to see a variety of wildlife in a concentrated area. You’ll have a packed lunch on the Crater floor while enjoying the stunning scenery around you. After lunch, you’ll continue exploring the Crater, marveling at the diversity of the ecosystem, which ranges from grasslands to forests and wetlands.

Once the game drive concludes, you’ll make your way out of the Crater and drive towards Karatu, a small town near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival in Karatu, you’ll check into your accommodation, where you can relax after an incredible 4-day safari.
