Travel From Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park

Your adventure begins with a personalized pickup from the location you’ve provided, followed by a comfortable transfer to the SGR train station for your scenic journey to Morogoro. Upon arrival, our professional and friendly driver will meet you and escort you to Mikumi National Park. At the park gate, you’ll hop into one of our custom 4x4 open safari jeeps and begin your first game drive. Enjoy a delicious lunch before heading out for a 4–5 hour guided safari, where you’ll explore the diverse landscapes and spot a variety of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, and more. As the sun sets over the savannah, you’ll be transferred to a cozy lodge or hotel for a relaxing evening, where you can unwind and prepare for a full day of exploration on Day 2.

Guests will have the option to add a unique cultural experience by visiting a nearby Maasai village. This enriching two-hour tour offers a glimpse into the traditions, lifestyle, and heritage of one of Tanzania’s most iconic tribes—an unforgettable way to end your journey. If you prefer a more direct return, you may choose to head straight to the Morogoro train station after breakfast. From there, enjoy a comfortable and scenic train ride back to Dar es Salaam, reflecting on the memories, wildlife encounters, and cultural insights gained during your time with us. Whichever option you choose, your experience ends with a heart full of wonder and stories to tell.
