Day 1

Into the Iconic Serengeti

Into the Iconic Serengeti

After an early breakfast, depart for the world-famous Serengeti National Park. The journey takes approximately 7 hours and is long but incredibly scenic, and your first view of the vast plains is truly unforgettable. Covering over 18,000 km², the Serengeti lives up to its name — “endless plains” — with landscapes that stretch beyond the horizon. This is the heart of the Great Migration, home to millions of wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, and a high concentration of big cats like lions, leopards, and cheetahs.

We will pick you up from your hotel/lodge in Arusha.

Ngorongoro Crater Tour - back to Arusha

It’s the final day of your Haraka Haraka Experience. After an early breakfast, we drive from Karatu to the Ngorongoro Crater Rim, then descend the steep slopes into this breathtaking natural amphitheater, often called the “Garden of Eden.” The crater is teeming with wildlife, and if we’re lucky, we might even spot the endangered black rhino, a rare member of the Big 5. After a spectacular morning game drive, enjoy a picnic lunch by Hippo Lake, followed by a short final game drive. After the maximum 6-hour stay allowed on the crater floor, we ascend and begin the journey back to Arusha where you will be dropped off at your hotel.
