Arrival In Kigali

Arrive at Kigali International Airport and meet our transfers personnel who will assist you through immigration procedures then transfers to the Hotel for check in and rest the afternoon. You have the option of visiting the Kigali Genocide memorial subject to your arrival time in Kigali. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Bwindi Impenetrable forest

Begin your day with morning breakfast and later meet your guide for the day who will start off with a slight briefing. Afterwards proceed for a Kigali city tour and a tour of the Kigali genocide memorial and museum if you missed it on the first day. Later on, transfer with lunch enroute to the Southern Ugandan side with via a border crossing arriving at your accommodation for the night which is south of Bwindi impenetrable forest.

Gorilla Trekking

Start your day with a cup of coffee and prepare for a transfer to the park headquarters for your gorilla trekking briefing. Begin the Gorilla trekking which is supposed to go on for 3 to 4 hours depending on the weather and on the location of the gorilla family. Once found, spend a powerful and unforgettable hour observing the gorillas in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and a short rest. Later proceed for the Batwa cultural village where the Batwa (Pigmies) still live in the same way they used to years ago in tree houses. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Return to Kigali

Enjoy a cup of coffee before hotel check out. Begin your transfer back to Kigali enjoying the green landscape and the rolling hills. The Journey will take you approximately 5 hours. You will have lunch in Kigali before dropping off at Kigali international airport.
