Arusha - Tarangire National Park
Arusha - Tarangire National Park
After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in Tarangire National Park, with a packed picnic lunch to enjoy in the wild. Tarangire is famed for its large elephant herds—sometimes up to 300 strong—digging through the dry riverbeds in search of hidden water. During the dry season, the park becomes a haven for migratory wildlife, attracting wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, impalas, gazelles, hartebeests, and elands to its shrinking lagoons. It’s a spectacular display of survival and movement in the African wilderness. After an exciting day, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Great View Lodge.

Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, you will depart the lodge and head to Lake Manyara National Park with a hot picnic lunch packed for the day. Following a full-day game drive, you’ll continue to Great View Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
Lake Manyara stretches for 50 km along the base of the dramatic, rust-hued 600-meter Rift Valley escarpment. Described by Ernest Hemingway as “the loveliest I had seen in Africa,” this park is a scenic treasure. The compact game-viewing route offers a rich slice of the Tanzanian safari experience.
From the gate, the road winds through lush, groundwater-fed forests where large troops of baboons lounge by the roadside, blue monkeys leap through towering mahogany trees, bushbuck tiptoe through the shadows, and forest hornbills call loudly from the high canopy.

Lake Manyara to Serengeti NP
After breakfast, you’ll journey to Serengeti National Park for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch in the wild.
The Serengeti is the stage for one of nature’s most awe-inspiring spectacles the Great Migration. Over a million wildebeest, driven by instinct and the rhythm of survival, move in vast columns across the plains. In a dramatic display of life’s raw power, they battle predators, conquer rivers teeming with crocodiles, and engage in a brief but intense season of mating and calving.
During this time, more than 8,000 calves are born daily, fueling the next cycle of the 1,000 km (600 mile) journey north. It’s an extraordinary scene that defines the spirit of the Serengeti.
