Depart Nairobi in the morning and travel through the scenic Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha.

Check in at Elsamere Lodge, a charming boutique retreat and former home of conservationist Joy Adamson, best known for raising and releasing the lioness Elsa—a story famously told in the book and film Born Free. Set on the lakeshore, the lodge is rich in history and surrounded by wildlife.

After lunch, enjoy a boat safari on Lake Naivasha, spotting hippos and diverse birdlife. Disembark at Crescent Island for a guided walking safari among giraffes, zebras, and antelope—offering a rare and peaceful encounter with wildlife on foot.
