From this vantage point, you'll also catch a glimpse of the crater rim. The remarkable concentration of wildlife visible from the rim extends into the vast Ngorongoro Crater itself, renowned as the prime spot to observe black rhinos and the majestic pride of lions, including the impressive black-maned males. Thousands of vibrant flamingoes and various waterbirds adorn the lakeshore or take to the skies in colorful flight. Predators such as leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas, along with various antelope species and other smaller mammals, also inhabit the area.
