Upon arrival at the airport (Arusha/Kilimanjaro International), you’ll be warmly greeted by your guide and begin your journey southwest toward Tarangire National Park. Known for its large population of elephants and striking baobab trees, Tarangire is a haven for wildlife. Enjoy a game drive through the park, watching for lions, zebras, giraffes, and migratory birds around the Tarangire River. After an exciting introduction to Tanzania’s wilderness, transfer to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay near Tarangire.

Depending on the time of year, you may witness massive herds of wildebeest and zebra. Enjoy lunch in the bush and continue your adventure before settling into your lodge/camp in the Ndutu area.

Start the day early and descend into the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater—a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the highest density of wildlife in Africa. This natural amphitheater hosts the “Big Five” and many other species in a stunning, enclosed ecosystem. After a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, ascend from the crater and begin your journey toward Moshi. Arrive in Moshi by evening, where your safari concludes.
