Your day will begin after breakfast at around 7:00 AM, departing for Lake Natron—a surreal destination and one of East Africa’s most unique natural spectacles. The lake’s waters are highly alkaline and remarkably shallow averaging just one meter in depth.
Upon arrival and check-in at your lodge, you’ll take a short break before setting out on foot. Guided by a Maasai tribesman, you’ll enjoy a scenic walk along the shores of Lake Natron, keeping watch for the region’s abundant birdlife—most notably the lesser flamingo. Lake Natron is the most important and consistent breeding ground for lesser flamingos in East Africa, hosting up to two million during the breeding season. Most egg-laying and hatching occurs between September and January.

You’ll start the day with an early game drive in the Serengeti, taking in the morning’s wildlife activity. After lunch, your adventure continues with another game drive as you make your way toward the park’s exit. On the last day of your safari, you will have an early start. Finishing up with a quick breakfast you will make an early descent at around 6:30 AM into the crater floor. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. It has a massive floor of about 260 sq kms with a depth of over 2000 feet. The 5-hour game drive on the crater floor will show you a lot of animal action. Keeping the camera ready is definitely recommended. The African elephant, buffalo, Black rhino, Hippos, Hyenas, Cheetahs and Lions are found in plenty. Post the picnic lunch at the beautiful Hippo pool, you will begin a steep ascend to the top exit of the crater. This is the last day of your safari. You will be dropped off to your preferred location in the evening and With an incredible experience and loads of memories to cherish.
