3-Day Mikumi Adventure - Start & End in Zanzibar

Transfer to Mikumi National Park

We will pick you up at 5:00 AM from your hotel and transfer you to the Zanzibar ferry. Then, you’ll take the ferry from Zanzibar to Dar es Salaam, which takes about an hour and a half. Around 9:30 AM, we’ll depart from Dar es Salaam to Morogoro village, traveling for approximately two hours by electric train. From Morogoro, we’ll continue by private car to Mikumi, a journey that takes around two hours. After arriving at the hotel, you’ll have about two hours to relax before heading out to visit the Maasai village. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Bastian Camp in Mikumi.

After a hearty breakfast at Bastian Camp, you'll hop into a safari jeep for a thrilling full-day game drive through Mikumi National Park. This vast wilderness is teeming with iconic African wildlife—from elephants and giraffes to lions, zebras, and herds of antelope roaming freely across the savannah. You'll spend the day exploring different areas of the park, soaking in the natural beauty and capturing unforgettable moments. As the sun begins to set, you'll return to Bastian Camp to unwind and enjoy a delicious dinner. Overnight stay at the camp ensures a peaceful end to an exhilarating day.

Mikumi National Park - Zanzibar

Early in the morning at 6:00 AM, after breakfast, you'll depart from Mikumi by private car heading back to Morogoro. At around 9:30 AM, you'll board the electric train to Dar es Salaam, with an expected arrival at 11:50 AM. From there, you’ll continue your journey by taking a speed boat across the waters to Zanzibar.
