Tarangire National Park

You'll drive to Tarangire National Park in the morning. The Tarangire River traverses the park and never dries up. Being the only water source during the dry season, it draws hundreds of animals to the park, making wildlife and bird viewing spectacular. The landscape is varied, with grassy savannah plains, swamps, hills, and spectacular baobabs.

Serengeti National Park

Today, you'll leave after breakfast and head toward the Serengeti National Park. As soon as you arrive, you'll start the game drive and go until sunset. The Serengeti is known for its endless plains of savannah and forest landscapes. The park is famous for its migration involving about 1.5 million herbivores and predators.

Because of the drought in the northern hills and southern plains, thousands of animals are moving through the area. At the end of the day, you'll arrive at Ikoma Wild Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro

You will do an early-morning game drive in the Serengeti on day two. In the afternoon, you will head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will stay overnight at Rhino Lodge, a few hundred meters away from the crater rim. The lodge offers impressive views of the untouched high mountain forest with Mount Oldenai and Mount Makarot.

Ngorongoro Crater

You'll wake up early in the morning. After breakfast, you'll drive to the incredible Ngorongoro Crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater in the world. The crater's life is estimated at 30,000 large mammals. In the afternoon, you will be on your way back to Arusha Airstrip or Kilimanjaro International Airport.
