Day 2

In the morning, your personal safari guide will pick you up from your Arusha accommodation, and you’ll begin your journey toward Tarangire National Park. As you travel across the scenic Maasai plains dotted with acacia trees, you’ll see vibrant Maasai communities along the way walking, cycling, herding cattle, and guiding donkey carts. Tarangire is famed for its large elephant herds and diverse wildlife. From the open roof of your safari vehicle, you'll explore its savannas, swamps, and the vital Tarangire River, spotting animals like zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, giraffes, and possibly even lions or leopards. After an exciting game drive, you’ll head to a comfortable mid-range lodge for a relaxing evening and dinner.

Day 3

After breakfast, we’ll head toward the lush highlands where the Iraqw people cultivate wheat, coffee, and corn. As we pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you’ll catch a stunning glimpse of the Ngorongoro Crater before continuing to Serengeti National Park, arriving around midday. Spanning 15,000 km², the Serengeti boasts varied landscapes, from open plains and savannah to swamps, lakes, and hills. It’s also home to the famous Great Migration, where thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and antelope move in search of grazing and water, depending on the season. After an exciting game drive, we’ll head to the Seronera Valley for dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 4

This entire day is dedicated to exploring the wonders of the Serengeti on game drives. Home to an incredible variety of wildlife, including impalas, buffalo, crocodiles, and hippos, the Serengeti is especially famous for the Great Migration of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope. Their movement follows the rains, shifting from the northern woodlands and hills to the southern plains in November and December, and returning north from April to June. Alongside the migrating herds, you may encounter resident predators such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions. After an unforgettable day, we’ll return to our handpicked partner tented camp for dinner, relaxation, and a peaceful night on the vast plains.

Day 5

After an early breakfast, we’ll set out for another thrilling game drive in the Serengeti, with a chance to spot the iconic “Big Five” lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard. As wildlife roams freely across the open, unfenced terrain, you’ll enjoy a seamless and authentic safari experience. We’ll then continue toward the Ngorongoro Crater, arriving at its rim for a first, awe-inspiring view of the lush grasslands, sparkling streams, and abundant wildlife below. Your evening will be spent at a handpicked mid-range lodge, offering elegant dining and spacious comfort for a peaceful night surrounded by the beauty of the African wilderness.

Day 6

Early risers will be treated to stunning views of the sunrise over the crater rim. After a hearty breakfast, we’ll descend the steep track into the Ngorongoro Crater a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders. Formed around three million years ago, the 610-meter-deep crater spans 260 km² and is home to around 25,000 animals, offering some of the best wildlife viewing in Tanzania. In a short time, you may see wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and a wide variety of birdlife. With some luck, we might even spot the rare black rhino. After a rewarding game drive and picnic lunch, we’ll head back to Karatu for the night at one of our selected mid-range partner lodges.

Day 7

After breakfast, we’ll set off for the final stop of our incredible safari Lake Manyara National Park. Located 120 km west of Arusha, this small yet diverse park is named after the shallow soda lake that dominates its landscape, attracting thousands of flamingos and over 500 bird species. As we explore, we may encounter monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, elephants, and if lucky tree-climbing lions. The park’s varied terrain includes grassy plains, dense woodlands, and striking baobab-studded cliffs. After one last unforgettable game drive, we’ll return to Arusha in the late afternoon, filled with lasting memories of the African wilderness.
