Arusha -Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut

Today, we journeyed from Arusha to the legendary Marangu Gate, where our Kilimanjaro adventure officially began. After completing all park entry formalities, we began our trek through the beautiful rainforest that cloaks the mountain's lower slopes. 🐒 Along the trail, we were lucky to spot blue colobus monkeys swinging freely in the trees and heard the sweet songs of birds echoing through the forest. The 4–5 hour hike was calm and refreshing, surrounded by pure nature and cool mountain air.

By evening, we arrived at Mandara Hut, a cozy rest point offering solar lighting and flush toilets — a touch of comfort deep in the wild. ✨

Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut

You’ll wake up early today, ready for a full day of adventure on the slopes of Kilimanjaro. After a hearty breakfast, we begin our trek by continuing through the final stretch of rainforest. As the trail ascends, the dense forest slowly gives way to the open landscape of the moorland zone, where the air is crisp and views stretch wide.

If the skies are clear, you’ll be treated to your first stunning glimpse of Kibo and Mawenzi, two of the majestic volcanic peaks that crown Mount Kilimanjaro. It’s a special moment — a reminder of the great journey ahead. 🌋✨

By late afternoon, we reach Horombo Hut, where a warm dinner awaits and a well-deserved rest under the stars begins.

Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut

Today is another big step on your journey to the top! We leave Horombo Hut and continue our trek toward Kibo Hut, climbing steadily through the high-altitude desert landscape. As we ascend to 4,700 meters, the air gets thinner, but the dream of reaching the summit feels closer than ever.

You’ll arrive at Kibo Hut in the evening, where a warm meal and your final rest before summit night await. Make sure to drink plenty of water and take time to relax — because tomorrow, you rise before dawn to conquer the Roof of Africa. 🌄💪

Kibo Hut- Uhuru Peak back to Horombo Hut

Just after midnight, our professional guides will gently wake you with a warm cup of tea and a light meal to fuel your body for the most important trek of your journey — the summit push.

After 5 to 6 hours of steady climbing, you’ll reach Stella Point, just in time to witness the golden glow of dawn begin to light up the sky. But the challenge isn’t over yet — another 2 hours of effort will take you to the legendary Uhuru Peak, standing proudly at 5,985 meters. 🏔️🌄💛

After this unforgettable achievement, you’ll begin your long descent back — first to Kibo Hut for a short rest, and then continue down to Horombo Hut for your final overnight on the mountain. This is truly one of the most demanding yet rewarding days of your life.

Today is a day of joy and celebration as you enjoy your last breakfast on Kilimanjaro’s slopes. After a good meal, you begin the 19-kilometer descent down to Marangu Gate. Although it’s a long walk, the journey down is much easier than the climb up, and you’ll have plenty of time to reflect on your incredible achievement. 🚶‍♂️🌿

Upon arrival at the gate, you’ll have a heartfelt moment to thank your hardworking guides, porters, and cook — their dedication made your climb possible. This is the perfect time to show your appreciation with well-deserved tips. 🎉🙏

Next, you’ll receive your official certificate of completion — a beautiful keepsake marking your success as a Kilimanjaro summiteer. Your driver will then transfer you back to your hotel in Arusha or Moshi, where a well-earned rest awaits you. 🛏️✨
