Arusha to Tarangire National Park

7:00 AM: Departure from the Arusha hotel. Drive for one to two hours to reach Tarangire National Park.

Enter Tarangire National Park at 9:00 a.m.

Large herds of elephants, which are frequently spotted in the Tarangire River, are the reason Tarangire is well-known. Giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and occasionally cheetahs or leopards can be found in the park. It's a birdwatcher's heaven with over 500 species of birds; keep an eye out for lilac-breasted rollers and yellow-collared lovebirds. Vast savannahs and baobab-studded vistas are traversed during scenic wildlife drives.

12:00 PM: A park picnic meal

1:00 PM to 5:30 PM: Go deeper into the park to continue exploring Tarangire and see more wildlife.

5:30 PM: Begin the journey to your Karatu hotel for dinner and the night.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

06:30 AM: Early breakfast at the hotel

07:30 AM: Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area (approx. 20min drive). Arrive at the park, complete entry formalities, and stop at the crater rim for stunning panoramic views and photo opportunities before continuing to the descent point

09:00AM: Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a thrilling game drive. This area is home to a dense wildlife population, including; lion, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. With over 400 bird species, you may also spot flamingos at Lake Magadi during the wet season.

12:30 PM: Enjoy lunch at a scenic picnic spot within the crater.

1:30 PM - 3:30 PM: Continue your exploration of the crater, searching for more wildlife and soaking in the spectacular scenery.

03:30 PM: Ascend the Crater, spotting wildlife along the way and drive to your hotel in Arusha (approximately 4-hours drive). Arrive at your hotel in arusha at around 07:30PM.
