Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast at your Arusha hotel, your driver-guide from Armadillo Adventures will pick you up at 7:30 AM. The approximately 2.5-hour scenic drive to Tarangire offers views of rural Tanzania’s villages and landscapes.

Upon arrival, embark on a full-day game drive in Tarangire National Park, famed for its large elephant populations, ancient baobabs, and diverse wildlife including lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and over 500 bird species. A packed lunch will be served at a designated picnic site within the park. In the late afternoon, Armadillo Adventures will transfer you to a comfortable budget lodge where you will have dinner and overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Following breakfast, your Armadillo Adventures driver-guide will take you to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Upon arrival at the crater rim, descend 600 meters into the crater for a full-day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is famous for its exceptional wildlife density, including the Big Five elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard, and black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the crater’s scenic spots, such as near the Hippo Pool. After the afternoon game drive, ascend the crater wall and commence the return journey to Arusha, arriving in the early evening. Armadillo Adventures will ensure your safe drop-off at your hotel in Arusha or the airport, concluding your safari experience.
