Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

After being picked up from your hotel or the airport, your journey begins with a drive to Tarangire National Park. Tanzania’s third-largest park and a renowned sanctuary for its unusually large elephant population. The landscape is dotted with majestic baobab trees that tower over the wildlife grazing beneath them, adding to the park’s unique charm. Wildlife tends to gather around the Tarangire River, the only permanent water source in the region, making it an ideal spot for game viewing. You’ll enjoy a thrilling game drive accompanied by a picnic lunch amidst nature. In the evening, unwind with dinner and settle into your lodge for an overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Karatu - Ngorongoro Crater - Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, you’ll collect your picnic lunch boxes and set off for a tour of the Ngorongoro Crater. You'll descend approximately 2,000 feet (600 meters) to the crater floor for a half-day excursion into one of nature’s most extraordinary spectacles. Begin your exploration in the lush forested areas, were playful monkeys and majestic elephants roam freely. Then head to the lake region, where flamingos dot the waters in shades of pink. Finally, traverse the open savannah prime hunting grounds for lions on the prowl.
Lunch will be a scenic picnic in the heart of the crater, surrounded by stunning views of marshes, hippos wallowing in the shallows, and flocks of vibrant birds. In the afternoon, your journey continues with a drive to Serengeti National Park, where you’ll enjoy more exhilarating game drives en route to your camp. Day 3

Serengeti - Karatu

Serengeti - Karatu

We will once more enjoy an early breakfast and set off on our game drive at about 6:30 am, spending 6-7 hours exploring this incredible park. The Serengeti is the habitat for an abundance of wildlife, including impala, buffalo, crocodiles, and hippo. It is most well-known, however, for its great migrating herds of zebras (two hundred and fifty thousand), wildebeest (one and a half million!) and antelope (half a million). The animals’ trek is determined by the rainfall and varies from year to year. Apart from the migrating herds, we may see predators, such as leopard, cheetah, and lion, stalking their prey. At roughly 2:00 pm, we will head back to Karatu, arriving at our carefully selected mid-range partner lodge in time for dinner. We'll be in an excellently appointed restaurant (with a pool nearby for relaxation if desired) before partaking in a digest if by the fire with the endless African sky above. Your capacious quarters await you for a night of ease and dreams of wild cats.

Lake Manyara National Park - Arusha

After breakfast, you will embark on a drive to the final destination of your epic safari: Lake Manyara National Park. Though relatively small in size, this park offers remarkable ecological diversity and is located approximately 120 kilometers west of Arusha. Named after its shallow Salt Lake, Lake Manyara covers a substantial portion of the park and transforms with the seasons alternately flooding and drying creating an ever-changing habitat. It serves as a haven for thousands of flamingos and over 500 other bird species, painting the skies with dazzling color. As you explore the park, you'll encounter a variety of wildlife including playful monkeys, graceful giraffes, striped zebras, herds of wildebeests, sturdy buffaloes, and towering elephants.
After extensive game drives and soaking in the natural beauty, you'll make your way back to Arusha for your journey home, carrying unforgettable memories of Tanzania's wild majesty.
