Day 1

After early morning breakfast, you will be picked up from your accommodation by your guide and transferred as early as 6:00am to Kibale National Park with a lunch stop over then proceed to the park after lunch. Upon arrival at the park, you will check in the Bweza Kibale lodge and freshen up as you organize for an afternoon nature walk in one of the communities adjacent to the park where you will get a chance to explore lush rainforest, swamps, savanna, and crater lake trails, spot diverse wildlife: primates (e.g., colobus monkeys), 200+ butterfly species, and 325 bird species and at the end of the day you will return to your lodge for relaxation.

Start your day with an early morning chimpanzee trek in Kibale Forest, home to over 1,500 chimpanzees. You will have breakfast and then set out for an early morning game drive in Kasenyi Plains starting around 7 AM. A prime time to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda Kob, waterbuck, and a rich array of birds like martial eagles, crowned cranes, bee eaters, and more. After the game drive, After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for Lunch and check-out. In the afternoon, drive south through scenic landscapes to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Arrive in the evening and settle in Bweza Gorilla lodge.

Day 4

Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Start your day with an early breakfast before heading to Ruhija Park Headquarters. Join a group for a pre-trek briefing from park rangers. They’ll guide you on safety measures and what to expect during your trek.

Enter the forest for a trek lasting between 30 minutes and 7 hours, depending on the gorillas’ location. Upon finding the gorilla family, spend one hour observing their interactions. Take photos and cherish the rare opportunity of being close to these incredible creatures.

After your trek, return to the park headquarters to receive your tracking certificate. This marks your successful gorilla trekking experience in Uganda and then head to the lodge, checkout and head to Lake Bunyonyi. You will have lunch enroute to the Lake. Arrive in the late afternoon and settle into White Horse Inn. As the sun sets, unwind with a sundowner.

Day 5

Transfer to Entebbe

Transfer to Entebbe

Enjoy breakfast before starting your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe. Drive through the same scenic route, allowing for another stop at the Equator in Kayabwe. Use this opportunity to capture more photos, buy souvenirs, or relax.

Arrive in Kampala or Entebbe in the evening concluding your tour.
