Your day begins around 6:00 am (exact pick-up time depends on your hotel in Zanzibar) with a transfer to the airport for your 8:00 am flight to Arusha. Upon arrival at 9:15 am, your driver-guide will take you to Tarangire National Park, about 1.5 hours away, sharing insights into Arusha’s history and the Maasai culture along the way.
Tarangire is known for its rich biodiversity and large elephant herds. The park features a mix of seasonal swamps, savanna, and the Tarangire River, which attracts a wide variety of animals. You may witness lions stalking prey or leopards lounging in the trees.
You'll enjoy a packed lunch inside the park and continue your game drive through the afternoon. The drive ends at 4:00 pm, after which you'll head to your lodge to relax, enjoy dinner, and settle in for the night.

After a 6:00 am breakfast, you’ll head to Ngorongoro for an early morning game drive inside the crater—an ideal time to spot active wildlife and enjoy stunning views.
Ngorongoro, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, features the world’s largest intact caldera and is considered one of Africa’s Natural Wonders. It’s home to around 30,000 large animals, including lions, elephants, rhinos, cheetahs, and buffaloes, along with diverse birdlife such as flamingos and eagles.
The game drive wraps up in the afternoon, followed by a transfer to Arusha Airport for your 4:30 pm flight to Zanzibar. On arrival, a driver will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.
