Your safari begins with a hotel pick-up followed by a scenic two-hour drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. Covering 2,600 square kilometers, Tarangire is known for its vast landscapes and seasonal migration patterns. During this time of year, many animals move from the dry Maasai steppe to the Tarangire River in search of water. The park is especially famous for its large herds of elephants and buffalo, but also offers sightings of lions, giraffes, impalas, wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles. Tarangire is also the only place where the rare fringe-eared oryx can be spotted. You'll enjoy a rewarding game drive, exploring the park's diverse terrain and rich wildlife. Get ready for another exciting day as you explore the scenic Lake Manyara National Park, nestled at the lush base of the golden Rift Valley escarpment. This diverse park offers breathtaking landscapes and rich wildlife viewing.

Watch for the unique dark-coated giraffes, which appear almost black from a distance, and the rare tree-climbing lions roaming the open savannah. In the forest canopy, you may spot playful monkeys, while hippos lounge in the shallow soda lake. With over 400 recorded bird species, Lake Manyara is truly a birdwatcher’s paradise.
