Arusha to Serengeti National Park

Your adventure begins early in the morning, you will be picked from your hotel then depart from Arusha. You’ll travel with your group in a 4x4 safari vehicle, heading northwest toward the world-famous Serengeti National Park.

Along the way, enjoy scenic views of the Great Rift Valley, the Maasai plains, and the Ngorongoro Highlands. After a brief stop at the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint, you’ll continue into Serengeti, arriving in time for an afternoon game drive. As you explore the vast plains, keep an eye out for lions, elephants, zebras, cheetahs, and more.

In the evening, you’ll settle in at Seronera Public Campsite, located in the heart of the Serengeti. Dinner will be served under the stars, and you'll spend the night camping surrounded by the sounds of the wild.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Wake up early for a sunrise game drive in Serengeti—this is one of the best times to spot predators on the move before the heat of the day sets in.

After a few hours of game viewing, return to camp for brunch. You’ll then begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying wildlife sightings along the way as you exit the park. In the late afternoon, you’ll arrive at Simba Public Campsite, perched on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater.

Take in the sweeping views of the crater floor below as you relax and enjoy a warm dinner at camp. Tonight, you’ll sleep at high altitude in cool, fresh air, preparing for an unforgettable final day.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After an early breakfast, you’ll descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive in one of Africa’s most extraordinary wildlife destinations.

The crater floor is home to an incredible variety of animals, including lions, elephants, hippos, buffalo, flamingos, and the rare and endangered black rhino. With a bit of luck, you may spot all of the Big Five within a single day. Midday, you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch near a hippo pool, surrounded by the natural beauty of the crater.

After your safari, you’ll ascend back to the rim and begin your drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening.

Drop-off will be at your hotel or the airport, depending on your travel plans.
