Flight from Zanzibar to Serengeti National Park/Game Drive

Early in the morning, around 6:00 am (pick-up time varies by your hotel in Zanzibar), you’ll be driven to the airport for an 8:00 am flight to the Serengeti. Arriving at Seronera Airstrip at 10:40 am, your driver-guide will take you on a game drive through Central Serengeti. You’ll stop for lunch at a picnic site inside the park, then continue the drive until evening. Afterwards, you’ll head to your camp for dinner and overnight stay.

The Serengeti, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in northern Tanzania, covers about 15,000 square kilometers. It is home to over 2 million herbivores, 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, 550 cheetahs, and around 500 bird species. During the dry season, massive herds of migratory wildebeest and zebras pass through. The northern Serengeti also supports resident wildlife such as lions, elephants, hippos, giraffes, crocodiles, and rare oribi antelopes.
