Flight from Zanzibar to Central Serengeti/Game Drive Central Serengeti

At 6:00 AM (pick-up time depends on your hotel's location in Zanzibar), your driver will transfer you to the airport for an 8:00 AM flight to the Serengeti. You’ll arrive at Seronera Airstrip at 10:40 AM, where your safari guide will meet you and begin your game drive through Central Serengeti. Enjoy lunch at a picnic site in the park, then continue exploring until evening. After the drive, you'll head to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Located in northern Tanzania, the Serengeti is a UNESCO World Heritage Site covering about 15,000 square kilometers. It's home to over 2 million herbivores, 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, 550 cheetahs, and roughly 500 bird species. During the dry season, vast herds of wildebeest and zebras migrate through the region. Northern Serengeti also hosts rich resident wildlife including lions, elephants, hippos, giraffes, crocodiles, and the rare oribi antelope.

Ngorongoro Crater to Zanzibar

After breakfast at 6:00 AM, you'll depart from your accommodation and drive about three hours to reach the Ngorongoro Conservation Area gate. You’ll enjoy a full-day game drive inside the crater with a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll head to Arusha Airport for your 4:30 PM flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at 5:30 PM, your driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.

Ngorongoro is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognized for both its natural beauty and cultural significance. Once you descend into the crater, you'll have an excellent chance of spotting the Big Five—lions, buffalo, elephants, leopards, and black rhinos—as well as flamingos and many other bird species around the crater lakes. The crater's unique ecosystem supports a high concentration of wildlife, offering fantastic sightings in a short time.
