Pick up from Kigali and Drive to Bwindi

You'll be picked up early in the morning from Kigali. After a briefing, begin your drive toward the Uganda border via Cyanika or Gatuna. The journey offers scenic views of rolling hills, banana plantations, and rural life. After crossing into Uganda, continue through the Kisoro or Kabale region, arriving at Bwindi in the afternoon. Check in at your lodge and relax with dinner and forest views.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Rise early for breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. Enter the forest with your guide for a once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking experience, which may take 2–6 hours depending on the location of the gorilla family. Once located, you’ll spend up to 1 hour observing the gorillas in their natural environment. Return to the lodge for a late lunch and optional community or cultural walk in the afternoon.

Drop off to Kigali International Airport

After breakfast, you will check out of your accommodation and begin your return drive to Kigali. You’ll be dropped off at your hotel if you decide to extend your stay or the airport for your onward journey.
