Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha in the morning and you’ll head straight to Tarangire National Park, famous for its elephant population, scenic savannahs, and ancient baobab trees.

Enjoy a game drive through the park, spotting giraffes, buffaloes, lions, and diverse birdlife. You’ll have a picnic lunch inside the park. In the late afternoon, exit the park and proceed to Karatu town, where you’ll overnight at Eileen’s Tree Inn, a cozy midrange lodge known for its welcoming hospitality and garden setting.

Lodge to Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive in one of Africa’s most famous wildlife arenas.

The crater floor is home to the Big Five, including a small population of black rhinos, as well as flamingos, hippos, and hyenas. After a picnic lunch by a scenic hippo pool, exit the crater and begin your drive toward Arusha, arriving in the early evening.

Check into a cozy hotel in Arusha for dinner overnight.

Arusha to Materuni Waterfalls & Coffee Tour

After breakfast, take a drive to Materuni Village, located at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Embark on a guided hike to the beautiful Materuni Waterfalls, then join local Chagga villagers for a coffee-making tour, learning every step of the traditional bean-to-cup process—with plenty of tasting! After lunch in the village, begin your return trip to Arusha, arriving by late afternoon.
