Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast in Zanzibar, you'll catch a scenic morning flight to Arusha (1.5 hrs).

Upon arrival at Arusha Airport, your professional safari guide will greet you with a 4x4 Land Cruiser and head straight to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees.

Enjoy a full afternoon game drive with picnic lunch inside the park. After the safari, you’ll proceed to Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge or other lodge of your choosing in Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Today is your deep dive into Africa’s Eden – the Ngorongoro Crater!

After an early breakfast, descend 600 meters into the volcanic caldera, a natural sanctuary home to over 25,000 animals including the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a half-day game drive in this UNESCO World Heritage Site, followed by a relaxing lunch at the crater floor picnic site.

Return to Marera Lodge in the afternoon for leisure, dinner, and overnight.

Lake Manyara to Arusha to Zanzibar

After breakfast, check out and drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a lush gem set beneath the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Keep your eyes open for tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and curious baboon troops.

Enjoy a mid-morning game drive followed by a warm lunch. Later, you'll be driven to Arusha Airport for your return flight to Zanzibar, arriving in the early evening.
