Depart at 07:00 from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg by shuttle to Ivory Moon Lodge in Hoedspruit, with an option to fly from Johannesburg or Cape Town at an additional cost if arranged in advance. On arrival at 13:30, enjoy a freshly prepared lunch before checking into your luxury accommodation at 14:00. At 15:00, head out on a 3-hour sunset safari in the Blue Canyon Reserve, complete with sundowner drinks and light snacks, before returning to the lodge between 19:00 and 19:30 for dinner.

Depart between 08:20 and 08:40 for a full-day Panorama Route adventure, taking in the Drakensberg escarpment, cascading waterfalls, and landmarks such as Blyde River Canyon, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, and God’s Window, showcasing South Africa’s dramatic scenery. Guests may also choose to swap this excursion for another full-day Kruger safari at no extra cost if booked in advance and subject to availability. Return to Ivory Moon Lodge at 16:30 to relax by a crackling fire as the sun sets over Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, then enjoy an early dinner at 18:30 featuring authentic South African cuisine. At 19:30, set out on a one-hour night drive through the estate, with spotlights revealing bush babies, porcupines, leopards, hyenas, and plains game. End the evening at 21:00 with a toast around the fire, savoring Amarula liqueur to the sounds of the African bush.

Start your final day at 06:00 with a 1.5-hour guided bushwalk in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, offering an intimate, on-foot encounter with Africa’s wild heart. Expert guides lead you through the bush, highlighting delicate insects, vibrant trees, and fascinating plants while spotting plains game such as zebras, impala, and kudu up close, and sharing insights into tracks, flora, and the ecosystem’s balance.
