1-Day Guided Safari in Tarangire National Park

Your day begins with a 7:30 AM pick-up from your hotel in Arusha. After meeting your guide, you’ll drive about 1 hour and 45 minutes to Tarangire National Park, known for its scenic landscapes, ancient baobab trees, and the largest elephant population in Tanzania. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided game drive through the park, spotting a variety of wildlife including giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and possibly lions, leopards, and cheetahs.

Around midday, stop at the Tarangire River picnic site for lunch with a view—monkeys and baboons may make an appearance, but your guide will ensure a safe and fun experience. After lunch, continue with another game drive through different parts of the park. The safari ends around 4:30 PM, when you’ll drive back to Arusha, and be dropped off at your accommodation or Arusha Airport depends with your preference early evening.
