1-Day Escape to Ngorongoro Crater

Your guide will pick you up early in the morning from your hotel in Arusha for a full-day excursion to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations. You’ll begin with an early morning game drive, the ideal time to witness wildlife at its most active while enjoying a breathtaking sunrise over the savannah an unforgettable moment and a true highlight of any African safari.

Upon arrival at the crater, you’ll descend into this UNESCO World Heritage Site, often referred to as the Eighth Wonder of the World. The Ngorongoro Crater is home to an incredible diversity of wildlife, including the critically endangered black rhino, the crater floor features a unique mix of ecosystems forests, open grasslands, rivers, swamps, and a soda lake often dotted with flamingos.

Following your game drive and exploration of the crater, you will begin the journey back to Arusha, arriving at your hotel in the late afternoon or early evening.
