Arusha to Tarangire National Park

You will be picked up from the lodge early in the morning to begin a scenic journey to Tarangire National Park, with packed lunch boxes for the day.

Tarangire is renowned for its large herds of elephants and diverse landscapes, ranging from seasonal swamps to open savannah, all centered around the winding Tarangire River. During the game drive, you may witness a lion stalking its prey or a leopard lounging in the treetops above.

After the game drive, we will head to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will depart for a game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater, carrying packed lunch boxes for the day.

The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest unbroken caldera and one of Africa’s most remarkable natural wonders. It is home to approximately 30,000 large mammals year-round, including buffalo, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, as well as a wide variety of bird species such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards.

Prepare to witness an incredible concentration of wildlife in a short amount of time.

Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive, carrying packed lunch boxes. After the game drive, we will transfer you back to Arusha town at Arusha Planet Lodge, for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Lake Manyara is renowned for its tree-climbing lions, often seen resting among the branches, and for the large troops of baboons that inhabit the forest and are likely to accompany you along the park’s scenic roads from the moment you arrive.
