Today you explore one of the world’s most surreal landscapes—the Dallol hydrothermal field, located deep in the Danakil Depression. After breakfast, drive across the vast salt plains to reach Dallol, a region of intense geothermal activity and technicolor terrain. Walk among neon yellow sulfur springs, acid pools, and salt chimneys, where the earth boils with life from deep within. This is one of the hottest and lowest points on Earth, and yet it dazzles with vibrant natural formations like no other.
