After breakfast in Arusha, you will be picked from your hotel in Arusha and start safari with a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its massive baobab trees, seasonal swamps, and large herds of elephants.

Explore the park’s wildlife-rich riverine ecosystem with a game drive that may include sightings of lions, giraffes, zebras, and migratory birds. Enjoy a picnic lunch under the shade of a baobab before continuing your afternoon game drive. In the evening, arrive at the public campsite within the park or nearby, where your chef will prepare a hot bush dinner.

Today’s journey takes you through the rolling highlands and into the vast expanse of Serengeti National Park.

Along the way, pass through Maasai lands and spot game before reaching Seronera, the central region of the park known for year-round wildlife activity. After lunch en route, enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of big cats, elephants, buffalos, and (in season) the Great Migration.

As the sun sets, arrive at Seronera Public Campsite, where you’ll dine beside the campfire before settling into your tent for the night. There are no fences—just nature all around.

After an early wake-up and breakfast at Legendary Serengeti Campsite, begin your scenic journey out of the Serengeti through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Arrive at the Ngorongoro Crater rim in time to descend into this UNESCO World Heritage Site — the largest unbroken volcanic caldera on Earth. Inside, the Crater offers one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa, with chances to see black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, and more in a single game drive. Break for a picnic lunch near a hippo pool, taking in the incredible views and sounds of the wild.

In the afternoon, ascend the crater wall and begin your return journey to Arusha, arriving by early evening, you will be drop-off at your hotel or airport with unforgettable memories of Tanzania’s most iconic wilderness.
