Arrival at Ivato-Antananarivo international airport. Upon
arrival, meet our staff at customs. Assistance in issuing visas
and baggage formalities. Drive to Antsirabe through
mountains, hills and rice fields. Along the way, you will see
many funeral graves, some simple; others elaborate on what
plays an important role in the local population and their
fascination with the afterlife. Arrival in Antsirabe after 03
hours of driving: the thermal, "the city of water" as it is called,
has become a very important economic city, famous for its
fresh products and its mineral water, commonly called "Visy
Gasy ". The city is also known for its many rickshaws and its
precious and semi-precious stones.

Day 2
Antsirabe - Fianarantsoa

Breakfast at the hotel. Small city tour of the city and its
small manufacturer of corn horns, semi-precious stones. Road to Ambositra, the
capital of Malagasy crafts. Visit of various shops then continuation to Fianarantsoa.
Upon arrival, city tour in this town which is the capital of the Betsileo tribe.

Day 3

Departure from Fianarantsoa for very long days leads south. In Ambalavao, there is an interesting handcrafted paper factory that is worth a visit. It takes about ten minutes to see the different processes at work and there is a small gift shop where you can purchase some of the products. On Wednesdays possibility to visit the zebu market, very interesting. Visit of the reserve of the villager of Anja where you can easily see the ring-tailed lemur. In the afternoon, the second part of the trip passes through Ihosy to the wide grassy plains of Horombe and towards Ranohira. The
scenery begins to change as you cross Door to the South mountain and enter the attractive countryside of the Betsileo people where granite outcrops dominate the horizon. Here, the architecture of the village is also starting to change, from the
one-story African-style house to two-story buildings in the central highlands where people are more like those in Southeast Asia than they are not Africa.

Breakfast at the hotel and drive to the village of Ranohira to choose your local guide. A day dedicated to trekking and discovering the park, made up of a ruin-shaped massif dating from the Jurassic, discovery of
the most beautiful landscape in Madagascar. You will visit the other side: the natural pool, where you can swim, etc. You might spot bird species like the Madagascar hoopoe, the common Newtonia and with luck the juvenile short-eared
owl, the long-tailed ground-roller and reptiles and frogs (Ustalet's chameleon, jewel chameleon, tailed iguanid thorny, “endemic” mantilla expectata, Painted burrowing frog Possibility of enjoying the spectacular sunset at the natural rocky window of Isalo if the time permit.

Breakfast at the hotel, then morning visit at the Reniala reserve. Located at the edge of the northern and southern dry forest and the thorny bush, the reniala reserve or “mother of the forest reserve” is a habitat of remarkable
diversity. You will take a notion of medicinal plants and don't miss taking a photo in the avenue of baobabs, the cave of baobabs and tired baobabs. You can't see it anywhere. The visit will end in the village of the tortoise where you will have to be spotted the various endemic tortoises of Madagascar. Free afternoon but possibility to take advantage of the hotel's beach or activity offer.

Transfer early in morning to the airport. Domestic flight to join the capital of Madagascar island. Arrival at 10:35 am, check-in at your hotel, lunch then in the afternoon, city tour towards Antananarivo. You will visit the royal palace and the avenue of independence.

we all find it there. Visit Tsarasaotra Park to meet several endemic aquatic birds: Free lunch. Transfer to the airport for departure with our agent.
