Arrival Day - Overnight at Arusha City

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be met by your driver-guide who will warmly welcome you. After a brief introduction, you'll be transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. Once you arrive, you can relax and enjoy a delicious dinner at your lodge. In the evening, a pre-safari briefing will be conducted, where your guide will provide an overview of the upcoming adventure, detailing the itinerary and important safari tips. This will be your opportunity to ask any questions and ensure you’re fully prepared for the exciting days ahead. Afterward, you’ll have a restful overnight stay at your lodge, ready to embark on your safari journey the following day.

Arusha - Tarangire National Park - Crater Highlands (Karatu)

You will depart early in the morning from your lodge in Arusha and head towards Tarangire National Park for an exciting game drive. The journey covers approximately 110 km and will take about 2 hours. Packed lunch will be provided, allowing you to enjoy a meal while taking in the stunning wildlife surrounding you. Tarangire is renowned for its large herds of elephants, striking baobab trees, and diverse wildlife, including lions, giraffes, and various bird species. The park is particularly impressive during the dry season when animals gather around the Tarangire River. After an exhilarating day of exploration, you'll check out in the late afternoon and begin your transfer to the Rift Valley Escarpment Wall. This scenic route offers breathtaking views of the landscape, leading you to the Crater Highlands, where you'll arrive for dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge. The drive from Tarangire to the Crater Highlands is approximately 95 km and takes about 1hr 30min.

Ngorongoro Crater Day Tour

After an early breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival, you'll begin your descent into the crater floor, which is often referred to as the "Garden of Eden." The crater is a UNESCO World Heritage site and home to an incredible variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, and various bird species. This volcanic caldera offers a unique opportunity to see a wide array of animals in one location, thanks to its diverse habitats ranging from grasslands to forested areas. You’ll spend several hours on game drives, soaking in the natural beauty and abundant wildlife.
In the late afternoon, you will ascend back out of the crater and head to your lodge in the Crater Highlands Karatu Town for a relaxing evening, where you’ll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Crater Highlands - Central Serengeti

After an early breakfast, we depart from the Crater Highlands and make our way to the central part of Serengeti National Park. The journey covers approximately 170 kilometers and takes around 3 to 4 hours, including game viewing along the way. Our route passes through the stunning Ngorongoro Conservation Area, offering breathtaking landscapes and a chance to spot wildlife even before reaching Serengeti. With packed lunches provided, we continue the drive as the scenery transitions from the highlands to the endless plains of the Serengeti. Upon entering the park, we begin game drives en route, witnessing the incredible diversity of wildlife that the Serengeti is famous for, including large herds of wildebeest, zebras, predators, and a variety of bird species. By late afternoon, we arrive at your special camp or lodge in the central Serengeti, where you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay under the vast African skies.

Travel Day

Today is your travel day. After an early breakfast and checkout from your beach lodge, you will be transferred to Zanzibar Airport depending on the time of your international flight. If your flight is scheduled for the afternoon or evening, we can arrange a stop in Stone Town for a short tour and some shopping for memorable souvenirs and farewell gifts (available at an extra cost). You will also have your lunch there before continuing to the airport. This final experience offers a chance to soak in the charm of Zanzibar one last time. Your driver-guide will ensure you arrive at the airport on time for your international flight home, ending your incredible journey through the wild beauty of Tanzania and the peaceful shores of Zanzibar.
