Start with a scenic 2–2.5 hour drive from Arusha to Materuni Village, nestled on the lush slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. Home to the Chagga people, the village offers a rich mix of nature and culture.
Take a guided hike to the stunning Materuni Waterfall, plunging nearly 90 meters into a natural pool—perfect for a refreshing dip. Learn about local plants and traditions along the way.
Back in the village, enjoy a hands-on Chagga coffee experience, from bean to cup, accompanied by local songs and dance. After a delicious local lunch, return to Arusha in the late afternoon.
