Your safari starts with a pick-up at 7:30 am from your Nairobi hotel or airport, from where you will drive to Amboseli National Park.
You arrive in Amboseli shortly after noon and check into your lodge/camp, enjoy a hot lunch, and rest before the afternoon game drive. At 4:00 pm, you'll depart for the afternoon game drive.
The highlight here is that Amboseli National Park has the greatest concentration of elephants in the world! The park is home to over 1600 elephants from 56 different families. Each of the elephants has a name and a photo attached to its name.
After the game drive, you will return to the lodge/camp, freshen up, and enjoy a freshly prepared dinner.
Your overnight stay will be at Penety Amboseli Resort.

Day 2

You'll have breakfast, then prepare to go for the full-day game drive.
You will have a picnic lunch in the afternoon within the national park with great views around you.
Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds, which are often seen against the backdrop of the snow-capped mountain. The park's diverse ecosystems, including wetlands, savannah, and acacia woodlands, provide excellent opportunities for wildlife photography and game viewing, making it a must-visit destination for safari enthusiasts.
You will later in the evening go back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3
Amboseli National Park to Lake Naivasha via Hells Gate

You'll have breakfast and then head for Naivasha. You will get to stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint for a scenic photo session. Later, you'll head to Lake Naivasha.
You will be dropped off at the hotel check-in and then head for lunch.
After lunch, you will then head out for a boat ride in Lake Naivasha, followed by a walking safari in the animal sanctuary as the evening heat from the sun has come down. Here, you'll get a one-on-one encounter with animals like giraffes and zebras, and you can almost touch them.
You will later head to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

You'll have breakfast at Lake Naivasha, then head out to Hells Gate National Park. Later, you'll spend the night at Buraha Zenoni hotel & resort.
Hell's Gate National Park, located in Kenya's Rift Valley near Lake Naivasha, is renowned for its dramatic landscapes, including towering cliffs, geothermal springs, and the striking Hell's Gate Gorge. Unlike most national parks, it offers a more interactive experience where visitors can explore on foot, by bicycle, or through rock climbing. The park is home to diverse wildlife, such as zebras, giraffes, and various bird species, though it lacks large predators. Its unique scenery has inspired popular culture, notably serving as a setting for Disney's "The Lion King."

Day 5
Masai Mara National Reserve

You'll have breakfast, then head out for a morning game drive at Lake Nakuru until midday.
This is heaven for the bird photographers as there is a very wide variety the birds. There are tree-climbing lions, rhinos, Rothschild's giraffes, and, not to forget, what makes it the pink lake, the flamingoes.
Later in the day, after having lunch and having an incredible game drive, you will drive off to the Masai Mara National Reserve. You'll have an evening nature walk with very rich views of flora and fauna alongside your guide to accompany you. You can also explore visiting the Masai Village to experience their culture and norms.
You'll have dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Today's itinerary is flexible, and you can discuss with your guide and plan for the day’s schedule.
You can have a relaxed breakfast and depart for full-day game drives around the park at 6:30 am with your picnic lunch. This will give you a chance to visit the Mara River, where the migration happens during its time. Also, you'll have better chances to view wildlife all day and return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
A Masai Mara safari is an unmissable highlight of any holiday in Kenya.
