You will be picked up from your Arusha hotel or Kilimanjaro/Arusha Airport for a scenic 3-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a hot lunch in the park before continuing to Karatu Villas Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Famous for its large elephant herds, Tarangire also hosts wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, and predators, with the highest wildlife concentration outside the Serengeti. It’s the only park in Tanzania where the fringe-eared oryx and long-necked gerenuk are regularly seen and serves as a crucial refuge for migratory species during the dry season.

Day 2
Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will pack your luggage into the safari vehicle and embark on an en-route game drive to the Serengeti National Park, enjoying a packed lunch along the way. En route, you will be treated to stunning views of the Rift Valley and the Ngorongoro Crater. You are expected to arrive in the Serengeti around 11:30 AM.
Upon arrival, embark on a game drive through the Central Serengeti, where you can experience the breathtaking sunset over the vast plains. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be at Narudi Tented Camp, located within the Serengeti.
The Serengeti is famed for its seemingly endless plains and the spectacular wildebeest migration, involving approximately 1.5 million herbivores followed closely by numerous predators. This migration spans across different areas of the park, driven by seasonal droughts. After breakfast in the Serengeti, begin your day with a breathtaking sunrise followed by a morning game drive as you travel toward Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival, embark on a thrilling game drive inside this magnificent volcanic caldera.
At a suitable time during the game drive, enjoy a scenic picnic lunch amidst the stunning Ngorongoro landscapes.
Known as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” Ngorongoro Crater is home to one of the highest concentrations of wildlife on Earth, including the Big Five, rare black rhinos, and abundant birdlife, all set within lush grasslands and dramatic crater scenery.
After a full day of wildlife viewing, ascend from the crater and proceed to Kankari Lodge for dinner and overnight accommodation.
