Zanzibar - Arusha Airport – Tarangire National Park

Your adventure begins in Zanzibar, where our driver will collect you from your hotel and transfer you to Zanzibar Airport for your morning flight to Arusha. On arrival, your professional safari guide will meet you at Arusha Airport and you’ll continue directly to Tarangire National Park.

Known for its ancient baobab trees and impressive elephant herds, Tarangire offers a spectacular introduction to Tanzania’s wildlife. Enjoy a game drive through the park, with opportunities to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, lions and other wildlife gathering around the Tarangire River and surrounding plains.

After your game drive and a scenic picnic lunch in the park, continue towards the Karatu highlands for dinner and an overnight stay at your comfortable mid-range accommodation, ready for tomorrow’s Ngorongoro adventure.
